ABOLISH THE UTE TAX
To the Honourable President and members of the Senate in Parliament assembled: The petition of the undersigned shows: The Albanese Labor Government’s ‘Ute Tax’ unfairly penalises hardworking Australians who rely on utes and 4WDs for work, farming, trades, and to safely transport the family in our regions. Your petitioners ask that the Senate: Calls on the Government to remove the ‘Ute Tax’ established under the New Vehicle Efficiency Standard Act 2024 to ensure regional Victorians are able to access and afford the vehicles they need and love to drive.
