INDIGENOUS Affairs Minister Nigel Scullion visited Bendigo on Friday.
Mr Scullion and Senator Bridget McKenzie dropped into Dja Dja Wurrung Clans Aboriginal Corporation and Bendigo District Aboriginal Co-operative.
The pair toured both facilities and discussed a number of topics affecting Indigenous people in the region, including education and substance abuse.
Mr Scullion said the meeting was worthwhile.
BDAC interim chief executive Raylene Harradine said members of the co-operative appreciated Mr Scullion’s visit.
“It was his second time,” she said.
“We showed him the facility and had a bit of a discussion.”
